guadalupe street project, austin texas
Here's a drawing from probably about ten years ago, when I was working at Black and Vernooy Architects in Austin, Texas. The original is a giant pencil on vellum drawing, 24" x 48" (?) - can't remember for sure.

chris sims - I have a bunch, somewhere. This was one I just dug up in an old print portfolio the other day and I thought it would be interesting to share, since I don't do much of this kind of stuff anymore.
andrew - haha! pretty funny...
c deboda - its not really all that difficult, just tedious. Takes forever, and is less flexible than 3D nowadays.
ivan - it's a real street, right in front of the University of Texas in Austin. The project was some renovations to the streetscape, like paving, widening sidewalks, installing new lighting, etc. I don't know how far it's gotten along.
