space opera: Cygnus Lake, part 2

This is a full shot of the character concept from a few posts ago. I think actually it will be an interesting story point if this character is part machine and part human. We'll see how that plays out. I'm on the third draft of the script, and some characters have disappeared, a few have been melded into one, and now I'm juggling scenes on index cards. This "writing" stuff is hard. Non fiction stuff I have no problem with, but telling an interesting story? Shoo.

oh wow! really great concept and very strong character. I love everything about it..concept, pose, palette, everything. I can't wait to see the book too. and what you wrote in a few posts back for the remixed piece was super informative. i'm glad you liked my Sciurus! : )

Francis,
i like that '19th century'tatoo idea emerging here. Adds some depth to her, imho...
brings focus on the fleshy parts and sharpen the whole character in many ways. Cool environments too :)

I'm not sure about the cyber-doing part, but, just wanted to drop in and once again say great job on the 'character design' article on the latest IFX. Lots of very helpful design tips!

Gay-Friendly Autos
Does your ride reflect your Pride? Is your car out of the closet?

thanks very much guys! the story is coming along, keeps changing in certain areas. it's still a space opera, but some different flavors here and there.

&drew - hm, not sure what to make of that. i guess if cars can have gender then they can have a sexual orientation.
