Hi there. Still pretty jazzed on this Art Rage program. It's pretty interesting to see how the paint behaves here - from what my experienced traditional painting friends have said, it's a fairly good model of how real paint works . Kind of a wake up call as to how easy it is to get the color you are after in Photoshop. On the other hand, in Photoshop you don't seem to get those accidental color shifts and specks that this "real paint" stuff does....

Here is a sketch done quickly in Art Rage using the pencil tool and colored in Photoshop. Not really a concept design for anything... I really like the way the pencils and paint feel in this program.

Here are a couple of old sketches done in pencil and watercolor; these two were really early concepts for characters inhabiting the world in which this ashcan/short story takes place. The top sketch shows one incarnation of Somerset Free, the main character. The lower image is a character named Beethoven Five, a professional racer and "artifical personality construct."
